To promote Sanrio's new multi-character brand Hello Sanrio, I worked with McDonald's to develop a collectible happy meal toy. The promotion was launched nation wide in November 2016. Each toy was a house that opened, a figure that fit inside and a sticker sheet to decorate the house. While working on this project, I had to balance McDonald's toy regulations while keeping the characters and buildings on model.

I designed this collection of gudetama items for specialty retailers and as a reference for licensee development. Gudetama is a lazy egg character, so it was important to keep his personality in mind when I designed these items. (From the top left: molded silicon tea infuser, molded silicone wine stopper, novelty desk lamp, pop up laundry hamper with dangling arms and legs, die cut pop up memo pad in tin container, plastic egg slicer, and Magic 8 Ball.)

I designed this collection of Aggretsuko items for specialty retailers and as a reference for licensee development. Aggretsuko is a mild-mannered office worker by day and a raging metalhead by night to release stress. I wanted to design products to be used in the work place and also items that showed her dual personality. (From the top left: lenticular calm & angry notebook, USB flash drive that lights up when in use, battery operated desk fan, character alarm clock, die cut stand up sticky notes, mood telling desk accessory, stand up weekly desk calendar, and die cut MDF board desk organizer.)
