Using the Hello Kitty party style guide I created, I developed a collection of party supplies for mass retailers. I wanted the main items in the collection to feel very celebratory and core hello kitty, By designing the tableware and hanging decorations this way, it allowed the products to be used for any age and any celebration.  [From the top left: die cut paper birthday banner, pin the bow on hello kitty poster game, paper plates, napkins & cards, DIY paper lanterns, surprise party crackers, hanging paper honeycomb decorations, temporary tattoo favors, push pencil favors, die cut printed eraser favors.]

I designed this collection of stationery items as a proposal for Typo. [From the top left: printed notebooks, washi tape dispenser with washi tape rolls set, printed felt tip pen with molded character mechanical pencil set, wooden perpetual desk calendar, printed ceramic keepsake jar, and printed sticky note set.]

I designed this young adult houseware collection for Hot Topic and Box Lunch. [From the top left: 10 in. ceramic plate with printed polka dots and embossed Hello Kitty icons, 8 in. ceramic plate with printed stripes and embossed hello kitty, 8 in. ceramic bowl with embossed hello kitty ears & icon, Hello Kitty & Mimmy ceramic salt & pepper shakers, Stainless steel water bottle with metallic gold dots & Hello Kitty icons, Hello Kitty toss pattern tumbler with metallic printing, metallic gold polka mug with Hello Kitty ears, and Hello Kitty printed apron.]

I worked with Babytrend to design a collection of strollers and car seats for a younger millennial mom. I wanted to focus on classic hello kitty colors instead of the more go-to pink. By highlighting hello kitty’s original primary color-way, the strollers take on a more bold look with gender neutral appeal.

The primary and secondary patterns I created for the collection.

These are other color way and pattern options that I developed as options for the Babytrend collection. The classic hello kitty collection was chosen based on peer review and consumer feedback.
